We are a residential treatment center in Lliber (Alicante, Spain) specializing in the treatment of addiction, burnout, trauma, and other mental health issues.

The Position
As a Detox Care Nurse, you play a key role during one of the most vulnerable phases of the recovery process. You will support clients during their detoxification, administer medication as prescribed, monitor their physical and mental condition, and maintain direct contact with the supervising physician.
This position requires clinical expertise, the ability to handle stress, independence, and a genuine commitment to the people entrusted to your care.
This is not a permanent, full-time position. You will be scheduled based on care needs and your availability. Shifts are irregular and may sometimes be scheduled on short notice. In return, you will receive appropriate compensation that is significantly higher than the standard rate.
What are you going to do?
- Working 24-hour shifts during detox programs.
- Administering medication according to the doctor's prescription and applicable protocols.
- Monitoring clients and identifying changes in their condition in a timely manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the supervising physician.
- Carefully reporting and documenting observations and actions.
- Providing clients with peace of mind, safety, and support during an intensive phase of their recovery.
- Be able to respond quickly when you're called in for a shift.
- Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a nurse who:
- Has completed a nursing program.
- Proven experience in detox care, emergency care, acute psychiatry, or intensive/critical care (required).
- Remain calm and professional when under pressure.
- Be able to make decisions independently within the scope of one's own authority.
- Has experience with medication management and working according to medical protocols.
- Possesses strong social skills and a natural caring nature.
- Is flexible in terms of availability and willing to take on shifts on short notice.
- Professional, reliable, and discreet.
- Speaks Dutch and English fluently.
- Has their own transportation.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
