To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced case manager.
About us
We are a treatment center in Lliber, Alicante, Spain, dedicated to helping people recover from mental health issues and addiction. Our work is based on genuine care and the belief that recovery is possible when people feel truly supported. We are looking for a Case Manager to join our team.
The Position
As a Case Manager, you’re the first point of contact when someone reaches out to us—by phone, email, or through our online form. You listen carefully to understand what someone needs, explain what we can offer, and help them determine if we’re the right fit. You coordinate their intake with our psychiatrist, are present throughout their stay, and follow up with them after treatment ends. It’s a role that requires both empathy and structure. You’ll work closely with our treatment team and back office staff, keeping everything organized while maintaining a genuine human connection with everyone you speak with.
What are you going to do?
- To be the first point of contact for incoming inquiries by phone, email, and through our online form.
- Listen carefully to clients and their families to understand their situation and needs.
- Clearly explain what we can offer so that people can make an informed decision about their care.
- Assess whether our center is a good fit and coordinate intake appointments with our psychiatrist.
- Discuss availability with the clinical team and back office staff to ensure a smooth admission process.
- – Be a familiar, recognizable face for clients during their stay—someone they can approach with questions or concerns.
- Accurately maintain client records in our electronic patient system.
- Stay in touch with clients after discharge to support their ongoing well-being.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the back office and the treatment team.
What we're looking for:
- A natural communicator—warm, articulate, and genuinely interested in people. You put others at ease and know how to lead a conversation with empathy and trust.
- Strong social skills and emotional intelligence, especially when speaking with someone in a vulnerable situation.
- The ability to explain our care clearly and honestly, so that clients can move from hesitation to a confident decision.
- A calm, organized disposition—able to comfortably balance meaningful human interaction with the administrative aspects of the role.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is required.
- Experience in mental health care and/or addiction treatment is a strong plus.
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and English is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
- A team player who values close collaboration with colleagues from various disciplines.
- You must have your own transportation.
- Flexibility with work hours.
- Full-time position.
- Competitive salary.
